Wildlife and Recreation: The farm is seven miles from the east side of the Belle Fourche Reservoir and Orman Dam. The Rocky Point Recreation Area, which is on the west side of the Reservoir, is thirteen miles. The Recreation Area includes picnic sites, camping, boating, hiking, swimming and fishing for walleye, perch, bass, tigermuskie and catfish. Access to hundreds of thousands of acres of public land in the nearby Black Hills National Forest which can be accessed near Spearfish, which is about a 30 to 45 minute drive southwest of the property.
Access & Location: The property is about eight & one-half miles northwest of Nisland, SD or eleven miles northwest of Newell on well-maintained gravel roads. Both sides of the land can be accessed via gravel roads with Beet Road on the west and Mail Road on the east. It's six miles north of paved Highway 212 via Beet Road. Area livestock auction markets are located at Belle Fourche and St. Onge.
