Antler Hills
Hulett, Wyoming
290 acres - $SOLD

Property and Current Operation:  The property consists of 290 acres. The land is currently leased for summer livestock grazing with the current lease to expire at the end of the grazing season. It's also been a family retreat and hunting getaway.

Terrain:  Wonderfully rugged Black Hills country with a varied topography. It ranges from tree covered hills and draws to high tables that overlook the Belle Fourche River Valley. The high plateaus on both the east and west side of the property lead to deeper wooded canyon areas with good wildlife cover. From the ridges there are long range views with Devils Tower and the Missouri Buttes in the distance. Pine, elm and bur oak trees plus a variety of native bushes provide good browse for wildlife. Some older farm ground offers areas to establish food plots. The elevation is in the range of 4,100 to 4,300 feet.

Water: A spring fed reservoir is situated in the draw on the westerly side of the property and there is also a reservoir up on the plateau on the east side.

Covenants: The property does not have covenants.

Wildlife & Recreation: The property provides great habitat for both whitetail and mule deer along with wild turkey. Northeastern Wyoming and the Black Hills area are a year-round recreational playground with hundreds of thousands of acres of Black Hills National Forest and public lands.

Access and Location: The property is about 2.5 miles east of Highway 112. Starting at the highway, the land is accessed via Bates County Road, which is an unimproved county road, then private road easements across neighboring properties. Most of the road is dirt with limited maintenance and can be impassable in inclement weather.
