Property & Current Operation: The land encompasses 144.94 acres known as Homestead Entry Survey #77. The property is almost surrounded by Black Hills National Forest lands. It is fenced into one pasture and currently leased for summer livestock grazing. Recreation and hunting are also enjoyed on the property.

Terrain: This private wilderness has a wide valley edged with ponderosa pine and aspen trees. Groves of quaking aspen trees line the hillside. There are several alcoves tucked back in the timber that would make the perfect cabin sites with views looking down the valley. The elevation is in the range of 6,160 to 6,300 feet above sea level.

Water: A spring development near an old homestead site is piped into a livestock water tank with the overflow going into a reservoir. The spring development provides a natural waterhole for area wildlife. There are two other reservoirs on the property, one of them appears to be spring fed.

Many hunters come to this area each year in search of a trophy bull elk or Whitetail buck. Mountain lion, coyote, fox, bobcat, and eagles are also seen in the area.
