Wildlife and Recreation: Access to hundreds of thousands of acres of public land in the nearby Black Hills National Forest which can be accessed near Spearfish or Sturgis, which is about a 30 to 45-minute drive from the property. The Belle Fourche Reservoir & Rocky Point Recreation Area is 23 miles southwest. The Newell Golf Course is just across the road.

Access & Location: The property is easily accessed from Newell by traveling one mile west of Newell on Orman Road, which will bring you to the south side of the property. Orman Road is paved and adjoins the southern boundary of the property for one-half mile. Dillinger Road runs along the west side of the land and Experimental Farm Road is along the east side.

Nearby area cattle auction markets are located at Belle Fourche and St. Onge. The Newell Sheep Yards are located on the south side of Newell.
